Hand made (no CNC machining) with master-grade woods – this is our base model with top-of-the-line features. From the meticulous top bracing and dovetailed neck joint to the wooden tuner buttons, the Applecreek (named for the first Petros guitar shop on Applecreek Road) is the foundation of the Petros Guitar line and is priced at $8800. (Including a deluxe, custom, hard-shell case).

Building instruments in the old way, using their hands to hold tools, not push buttons, the Applecreek incorporates all of the innovative features which make Petros guitars one of the most sought after instruments for discriminating guitarists. It starts with one of the most successful wood combinations: Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce. The guitar is then fitted with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, wood binding and matching hand-made wood tuner buttons on the best tuners available. Select blue Paua Abalone is used to trim the top for its classic beauty and top quality bone is used for the nut and for the fully compensated, back slanted saddle.

The top is arched for strength and stability producing ringing trebles, mids and overtones then graduated for deep clear basses. The unique neck and finger board, bridge plate, symmetrical scalloped bracing, headstock, dovetail neck joint and custom case are all standard. There are no shortcuts; no compromises.

The Applecreek is available in all 4 body styles; Fingerstyle, Grand Concert, Dreadnought and Jumbo as well as the Baritone. To better understand the advanced features that come standard on all Petros guitars see the “Features” page on our main web site.
