Incorporating all the best features we have developed over the years and adding them to the traditional styling of the classic 12 fret designs, we have created a new heirloom instrument that will fill that need you crave for the perfect, small body fingerstyle guitar.The new, Petros 12 fret Guitar incorporates a newly designed symmetrical top bracing system, which is the secret behind the astounding resonance of this unique instrument. Alaskan Yellow Cedar The optional neck material of this Guitar deserves special mention. Alaskan Yellow Cedar, or Nootka Cypress, is known for its stability and high strength to weight ratio. It is the hardest Cedar in the world and it is found only on the Pacific Coast of North America. It is one of the slowest growing trees in North America with trees that are 700 to 1200 years old with 60 annual rings per inch or more. It is extremely rare.
